First, make sure you have clicked the End Rental button in the app to end your ride and lock the bike. This will allow the app to activate the lock. You should see a screen that says Ready to Lock. Then, locate the wheel lock and push down on the orange tab until it clicks. Use the cable to attach the bike to a designated Pace station or public rack.

If you are experiencing connection problems:

1: Turn Bluetooth on and off on your phone
2: Force close the app to restart the lock process.
3: If you do not see the ride timer running, try to start a new ride on the bike and then lock.

If the orange tab appears stuck, make sure the wheel spokes are not blocking it from closing
You may contact our 24/7 call center at 833-321-PACE to receive immediate locking assistance. Bikes must never be left unlocked.

3: Delete and re-install the app
